Let’s go to the mountains – hiking and mountaineering for beginners
Rocks, peaks, valleys, mountain rivers and lakes, cow pastures, wild flowers - enjoy the Bavarian Alps. We start together in Freising and reach the mountains by train.

Meeting point:
in Freising at the station at 8:00 a.m.
(departure at 8:10 from track 2)
We travel by train and bus to the Spitzingsee and continue with the cable car up the mountain. Then we climb to the top and walk back to the lake.
Costs:
You have to buy the ticket yourself. It is best if 5 people take a Bayernticket together. Then the trip for one person costs 11.60 €.
The ride by cable car costs 11 €.
To take with you:
- Drink (approx. 1 l)
- Lunchtime (we can’t buy anything to eat or drink on the way)
- Sunscreen, possible sunglasses
- Bathing clothes
Equipment:
- Rain jacket
- Headgear
- Solid shoes!
